YOGA - SLOW FLOW AND INNER GLOW HATHA YOGA
In this course, I invite you to get to know Hatha Yoga in a calm and mindful atmosphere, or to deepen your existing practice. In Hatha Yoga, effort and relaxation alternate, and we consciously take time to pause and notice what we feel. We strengthen and lengthen the entire body, because we need both—strength and flexibility—to find balance. Within each asana (posture), we explore where activity is needed and where we can let go. At the same time, we give the mind a break from constant thinking. You return to your body through conscious movement, breathing, and awareness of your physical sensations. In this way, we understand yoga not as a workout, but as a work-in.
A typical class begins with gentle warm-up exercises that mobilize the body and help you arrive on the mat. Afterwards, we slowly flow through different variations of Sun Salutations and practice both standing and floor-based asanas that are held for longer periods. These postures help build strength, stability, and flexibility while also releasing tension in the body. The focus is not on adapting your body to the asana, but on adapting the asana to your body. Along the way, we practice simple breathing techniques (pranayama) that can help deepen your breath, strengthen your concentration, and calm your nervous system.
The class concludes with a guided deep relaxation in which body and mind can completely let go, integrate the practice, and restore energy. Join us, take some conscious time for yourself, and experience a yoga practice that is both energizing and calming—allowing your inner light, your InnerGlow, to shine outward.
All levels are welcome. No prior experience is required—just comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, and if needed, warm clothing and socks for the final relaxation.
