Tennis Training
This semester, we are once again offering tennis courses at the indoor tennis hall in Kreideberg. The tennis season of the winter semester is divided into two periods (9x; 8x) of training sessions.
The first period starts on October 14th and ends on December 15th.
The second period starts on December 16th and ends on March 2nd.
Beginners
If you are completely new to tennis and have no or very little prior experience, then this is the right course for you. We will focus on the basics as well as the first fundamental strokes. Additionally, you will work on improving your fitness and athletic abilities. It's important to bring your own tennis racket, shoes with relatively smooth soles, and, of course, motivation to explore this new sport.
Intermediate Course
If you already know the basic strokes like forehand and backhand but want to improve them, then this course is for you. We will work on enhancing your technique and general skills to give you more confidence in your tennis game. Additionally, we aim to teach you some tactical concepts to improve your overall understanding of the game.
Advanced
If you already have a few years of tennis experience and just want to keep in practice, while improving through various games and exercises, then this course is for you. We will engage in different exercises to prepare you for various game situations.
Important: Please bring your own rackets, as the university sports program does not provide them. The proper footwear (indoor tennis shoes for carpet courts with completely smooth soles) is also required. Alternatively, shoes can be rented for a small fee, or you can play in socks. The trainers will enforce these rules and may exclude participants if these guidelines are not followed.
Please note: You have the option to book a course spot for the first period and/or the second period.
The first-year student voucher does not apply to tennis courses. Additionally, these courses are not part of the Testival.
