Kickboxing and Self-Defense
Beginner: Kickboxing is a combat sport based on respect and mutual appreciation. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of technique, endurance, and self-defense. Additionally, targeted strength training will help you execute movements safely. Sparring is not part of this course; instead, the focus is on pad work with a partner.
If you already have prior experience or want to progress, you can join the Kickboxing: Intermediate course. For more advanced participants, the Kickboxing: Advanced course is available.
This course is taught in German or English, depending on the needs of the participants. Please come barefoot and bring – if available – martial arts equipment, a mouthguard, a jump rope, and plenty of water.
Intermediate: Welcome to the Intermediate Kickboxing course! Here, you will deepen and refine your skills in technique, conditioning, and body control. Kickboxing is not just a sport but also a way to build both mental and physical strength – qualities that will benefit you inside and outside of training.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of kickboxing or a comparable martial art (e.g., hand and footwork, stance).
Sparring will be introduced slowly and in a controlled manner – but only for those who feel comfortable with it. The main focus will be on pad work with a partner to improve technique and precision.
If you have no prior experience, the Kickboxing: Beginner course is recommended. If you already have more experience, the Kickboxing: Advanced course might be the right choice.
