Modern Dance
All levels: In this course we combine the movement styles of contemporary and modern dance. The focus of the course is not only on artistic dance movement qualities, but also on strength training and exercises to burn off energy. We work on smaller movement sequences from expansive to minimalist and flowing-soft to dynamic-edged. Floor work is just as much a part of this as jumps and fleeting handstands. Dancing should not be a competition in this course, but rather offer space to explore movement in a new way and to feel the body. Everyone from beginner to intermediate level and all those who would like to get new dance input and explore it adapted to their level are welcome.
Intermediate: In modern dance, classical basics from ballet are further developed into expressive, flowing movements. The course builds on the basics of modern technique, moving from refreshing the technique and movement through space to choreography. The most important things are, of course, a love of movement and a love of dancing.
